This thread is the best reason the internet was invented. The original post was about getting help with Digital Copy codes that he/she mistakenly thrown away yet its now turned into a Digital Copy bashing thread and now people are arguing over Digital Copy and its uses.
We are so far from the intent of this original thread and to make it worse, we already have several threads bashing Digital Copies. |

Yeah, I would say that you make a request to the studio to see if they can issue you another key for the digital copies. If you can show them by taking a picture all the movies you have, then you can maybe get a new key sent to you. I think I need to try and do that for Rambo, because I threw away the key like you did, because I didn't realize that it was on there.

I actually bought the DVD edition of Taken, and it arrived today. It was advertised as the "two disc extended unrated edition" and yet the second disc is simply a digital copy.
Made me kinda mad, to be honest. lol. I thought the second disc would be bonus features and whatnot. |

There are uses for having the digital copy, so I am happy to have them. From what I can tell on pricing, there isn't a difference for many studios on what they will charge for a new release, whether it's with a DC or not. |

I like ALL MY DIGITAL COPIES. The reason why I like all my DC copies so I can go to work, and listen to my movies since I can't watch them in the office. I use my Toshiba 400 GB ext HD to save my movies thru itunes. I only have about 30 movies stored in my ipod classic, as well as 5000 songs.
WB needs to produce the new codes soon for Batman 20th anniversary. ![]() Last edited by MaCruz; 05-28-2009 at 01:27 PM. |

I've never used a digital copy before but I wouldn't mind having copies on my macbook for when travelling etc. I just haven't gotten around to it yet |

I believe that a year is the standard time limit, but I could be wrong. At least I noticed that time limit for 10,000 BC which was a download from the Warner site.

x's 2 for another person who thinks they're worthless. Why watch them on my little micro nano ipod with low quality when I can watch it in my living room?
