There are so many rumors about the next trailer right now. The most likeliest rumor to be true is that the second trailer is already done and can pop up at any second. Probably somewhere between the releases of Eternals and Ghostbusters: Afterlife.

As for Tobey appearing in the second trailer, it is unknown. But that doesn't mean he is not in the movie itself in case he doesn't show up in the new trailer.

Oh I'm know he is in the movie. There have already been leaked photos of Tobey and Andrew in their suits on set.

I just want a trailer tease of him swinging in and saving Tom Holland's ass on that bridge.

One thing I noticed was that it seems like Doc Ock's arms have two different designs? There's the Stark/Iron Man-influenced ones you brought up in the other thread, but the other magazine pic looks different, more like his SM2 design.




The second shot seems like it should be the reverse angle of the first shot, but the arms don't look the same. And I don't think the red/gold bits are just on the underside either, since the claws also have red bits on them in the second pic but not in the first.

I have a couple theories about this:
- One of the shots is using placeholder VFX, or possibly fake VFX designed to mislead people (in which case the other shot was a mistake)
- Doc Ock gets an upgrade over the course of the film, and the second shot has a replaced background to avoid showing off a different location
- There's two Doc Ocks, both played by Alfred Molina. One is from the Raimi movies and uses the classic arms, the other native to the MCU and uses Stark-developed arms.

I think the second theory is the most plausible, but I'm curious what y'all think.

A simpler explanation is the reality of film production. CGI designs get tweaked a lot right till the end.

So the simplest explanations is if the final designs were not done they might just use 2004 designs as placeholder.

Modern blockbusters keep fiddling with CGI designs.

Yeah, something like after the identity reveal, a Mysterio supporter dumps green paint on him causing him to reverse his suit inside out and so it becomes the black suit.

I think we're getting very close to the new trailer. There's already a few seconds of leaked footage of Doctor Strange teleporting himself in the trippy train scene (from the first trailer) where Spider-Man is at.

A video explains how Andrew was faked only to have this video prove it wasn’t faked.

I expect Andrew to turn up in the movie. But constant denials and misdirection still leave me with doubts;

Excellent marketing. I’m sure all the related videos have been released with Disney’s encouragement and approval.

Okay, I was wrong about one thing. The leak footage that is out there is not from the second trailer. But rather, an alternative version of the first trailer.
