It does make it fun and does give it re-watch value, but that seems to be one of the biggest draws to films anymore. In Halloween Kills case, it just wasn't done well in alot of cases.
So far, I think No way home will have a decent amount of properly done Easter eggs and call back moments and am looking forward to that. But, as an example, the Bracket line just fell flat and had no connection outside of Michael standing behind the bush one house over from Annie's and disappearing when this line was delivered which is why it would have made more sense and made it a better callback if he said it Laurie. I just don't want to feel like I'm watching a Peparage Farm commercial when I watch a film lol |
