As a writer what would you like to bring to the characters in the Thor Saga?

AM-Grit. Not in the sense that you'd want to see a generic "dark" take on Thor, but in the sense that you want to feel Thor's rage when he rages. You want to see him fight like hell, and take as much he dishes out -- maybe more. You want to have a visceral reaction to the guy, and what happens to him. You don't want his adventures to be clean and antiseptic. You want to see the dirt, and grime and blood. You want to feel every bone crunching moment of every fight. And when he unleashes the storm, you want to feel like you're seeing the power of a GOD at work.

great news! This guy sounds like he knows what he's doing. Can't wait to see how this translates to the big screen.

Definitely keeping an eye on this - the first trailer will make or break this movie. So, far, everything surrounding the production has been encouraging.

I have to admit, when done right, Thunder is my favorite sound in surround. I live in Arizona so I don't hear it much otherwise. Bone crushing is a close second.

I only hope they use the original stone hammer and not that shiney metal looking crap. I've been a thor fan since the kirby days. I do like the look of the newest thor comics the outfit he wears does look more fitting and belivable, but, they have got to use the original hammer not that "new age" or "beta ray bill" hammer. Please don't screw that up!

I also think the hammer should almost sound "alive" when used or thrown, like an angry "tie figter" kinda sound. it should not sound like a sword slicing threw the air, it should sound like it's violently forcing the air out of the way when being swung or thrown and the impact should always bring your LFE channel to it's knees!

I can't wait!

If done right this movie has potential to be Epic in many ways!
But I too think it won't be an easy job, since there is so much Fantasy/Mythos. It's not like LOTR where the movie takes place in the same universe. I can't even begin to imagine how they are going to blend Thor with the current world we saw in The incredible Hulk and Iron Man and not make it laughable or cheesy.
