It wants senders shipping address... I don't know it.
It wants package or envelope shipped. I have no clue.
It wants dimensions of said package or envelope... Again, no idea.
It wants weight... Not a clue...

So I sent those questions in and haven't heard back yet.
Yesterday, before I sent those, the rep was very quick to reply.
Contact Rightstuf. They should be able to get you the address it was sent from and what/how it was shipped info.

I had to do it for a normal non-route claim a few years back. They were helpful.

Really that form seems like it was originally set up for the sender not the receiver. It’s a little confusing because of that in my opinion.
Reading the Route info I thought they were supposed to be handling all that stuff ,but I guess not.

Okay I'm back
Here's a better pic (hopefully) of the size comparison from before
[Show spoiler]

Comparing it to something similar, the Devilman Crybaby boxset:

Comparing one of the artcards (R) to an LD cover(L):

Comparing to LD insert:

All 3:

Artcard is matte while the LD ones are glossy. Also can see the artcards are slightly cropped in, if you look at some of the stuff around the edges on the original. Also artcards are pretty thick too tbh, like... 2~3x the thickness of cereal box cardboard? Idk

The back of the box is textured on the ripples around Rei which is kinda cool:
[Show spoiler]

Also, no loose discs. I checked them all and a few had these slight ring sort of "scratches", but they're barely noticeable; I can't imagine they'd affect playback at all, though I haven't checked.

Went all the way from UK to Australia, so I guess it was packed pretty well

Highly recommend checking those discs because ring marks like that run along the pressed data tracks.

And it will just get worse due to this disc attach system, the disc surface is always in contact with the cardboard below, so it gets free scratches anytime it turns a little and the holder isn't clean.
Your photos reminds me I had already stated three weeks ago how the artcard were cropped and the box was not LD-sized but smaller. I find it unfortunate they did not go the extra length to print them as matte (and do the box LD sized).

Got my ultimate box today, UK version. I actually giggled - this is the WORST disc securing solution I have EVER seen. Can't believe they reused it after the Bebop set. Cheap. No loose discs on arrival but all 11 had some small scratches along the ring form, gonna be interesting when checking them. Hopefully its like the Bebop discs, that played with no problem despite scratches.

The box itself is great. Sturdy and well made with attention to detail. The book is great too. The paperweight is ok for what it is. The Nerv id card is a flimsy cardboard card in a plastic sleeve. If not a real card I expected at least plastic or sturdy cardboard.

The art cards do not all fit in the box, the smaller cards arrive taped together under the main one and will not fit in the box if you keep the other contents as arrived

It's an ok collection overall but like the bebop one, OVERPRICED.

Honestly the cropping on them looks to be only a mm or so, hardly noticable even with a side by side comparison. Also Rilenz just confirmed that the artcards are matte. LD sized would have been better tho, but the box is already pretty huge.

Really wish they would have gone with digipak style holders if they wanted to do LD style folders. Guess I'm justified in buying replacement cases, and hopefully someone makes some custom covers.

I imagine throwing in the small artcards from the CE were a last minute decision as they never advertised them with the UE.

They should throw in collector’s edition style disc cases for those that purchased the UE instead. I know the cost difference is huge, but that would have been a better way to appease buyers disappointed by the terrible decision made with this set. Offering some kind of “replacement program” as an official alternative to storing these disc would have been more progressive and thoughtful. Hell, I wouldn’t even mind paying a reasonable offset charge. Oh well…

Neil is pretty much the only person reviewing anime releases at this point. Jeffrey Kauffman did most releases a long time ago before making it an uncommon occurrence, then there was the drought of reviews for anime releases.

Not sure I understand the reasoning that the "Video Quality" didn't get full marks when GKids release is better than the JP release, and thus probably the best that money can buy.

But whatever.
