I find that's the case with a lot of 4ks tbh, like nearly all of the early WBs releases run a bit yellow (much like how early Digitally shot HD releases had a touch of green) . I usually switch the tv to "cool" setting and it fixes it a bit

It's not just yellow, the color space for the first 20 min is completely messed up, looks pale compared to Criterion BD. It's a flawed disc and technically should have be replaced. But KL didn't even acknowledge the issue let alone replace.

I assume you mean thru the opening credits, that's common I find with KL remasters, a lot of times they don't have the separate elements and have to work around the onscreen text, I tend to save my judgement until after the credits are done and they've had clean footage to work with

Not just opening credits, it's the first full 20 min until Jodie comes out of the hospital. After that it's fine.

I think KL have actually acknowledged the issue, but have said it's not their fault and they're unable to fix it. Which is just as bad, but still.

I'm really confused, there are now 3 listings, a $23.99 (going to assume it's the audio CDs only). So I'm hoping the $43.99 listing will include the blu-ray, there is no mention of it including blu-rays anywhere in the product classification or title, other than the description mentioning Atmos (thanks Amazon.ca for not giving a shit). There's another listing now with a title of "The Berlin Concert (Deluxe Edition) (UHQCD x MQA-CD) (incl. Blu-Ray)".

I've pre-ordered the listing you've given, as I think it's about time I buy myself an audio-centric blu-ray John Williams scores with Dolby Atmos processing? Heck yes. Hopefully this listing is actually what we're talking about here.

I'm pretty sure the $43.99 set includes the Blu-ray.

The UHQCD set is probably from Japan.

About time! Still a bit too much for me but at least it's getting closer. 46.99 was just ridiculous.

Kino is the worst company producing blu-rays. I still buy their releases of old movies from 40's/50's/60's with full knowledge they will probably not look great. But whenever they say something is a new remaster etc you need to realize it is a straight up lie. I guess it is the same with their 4k's of newer films as well.

received my Shipping Notification for my Ghostbuster box set, seeing reports of not slip on the 3rd one, in the best buy thread, that better not be the case here.

Will update when received.

Weird. I pre-ordered Spine of the Night blu-ray last month when it was $30.

It shipped today and I looked at my order and it was down to $18.74+ tax.
I don't see the price going down on the Amazon Price tracker and never got notified it was reduced. Won't complain though.

This movie looks interesting. It's like Bakshi meets Heavy Metal.

Posted this in the Ghostbusters and Best Buy threads but posting here in case some are still on the fence...

Heads-up
@thedigitalbits
readers: We’ve confirmed with
@SonyPicsHomeEnt
that the GHOSTBUSTERS ULTIMATE EDITION was a limited #4K #UltraHD that sold out fast. However, there’s a huge outcry from fans who missed out, so hopefully Sony will make more.

Just opened my Ghostbusters set I ordered off of Amazon.ca and all 3 movies have their slips. Bilingual text is only on the J-Card that is removable, so all good here

The Ghostbusters set is now down to $119.99 on amazon.ca. Still waiting on my set, which was supposed to be in yesterday.

Nice deal! I didn't even know the Spine of Night was coming out on bluray. I picked it up for $10 on iTunes a couple months ago.

Not a deal, just a chuckle (sorry!): Amazon just e-mailed me to tell me that two orders will be delayed due to severe weather. A) There's no inclement weather here, and B) both orders arrived last week.

Le sigh, the John Williams In Berlin blu/CD set that was supposed to be released today went from "yeah" to "nah" for me. Anyone get lucky and have Amazon actually fulfill their order? Noting this is a trend with Amazon and all their release-date physical media releases.
