And that's the trick really, to think of them as people first and superheroes second. As much as 'saving the world' is something a lot of them would have on their resumé they're not all omnipotent, they don't all live in the same place etc etc as jala12 pointed out.

I'd argue that one of the main points of the team up movies is to demonstrate how DIFFICULT it is to actually get them all together at once, it's akin to herding cats. Would some of our heroes have been in NYC and could've helped Peter and Strange out? Maybe, but it's not like there's a local 601 for superheroes.

This is simply the curse of the interconnected universe. Saying "deal with it" isn't the most original response but this is the way of things in comic book land. I mean, why doesn't Superman just swoop in every time Batman's dealing with some fruity types? Oh my god what a terrible plot hole now I can't watch a Batman movie ever again, said no-one ever.

There's both of these listings also:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/35394734110...sAAOSwL69iI709
https://www.ebay.com/itm/35395123636...0AAOSwtmViI7uG

Never heard of people getting a disc this far in advance, it might've been pressed with an earlier release date in mind then delayed?

This was locked in on Amazon (Canada) for March 15th and then suddenly delayed to April 12th.

Rumor is Sony wanted to capitalize a bit more on the tremendous box office success.

Looks like Sony is aware of it because they added 10 more minutes of Bonus Content according to the Blu Ray back cover that released yesterday

I caved and bought that BD listing for $16.49, too tempting. It'll tide me over until I get the Target exclusive UHD next month.

Now here's hoping it's not a scam, it's probably legit, but the possibility exists.

Of course, the movie I've anticipated most will have to be torn from Sony's cold dead grasp. I'm sure the people still wanting to see this in a theater would still go to a theater regardless of a 4K/Blu-ray release. Plus, come on man, The Batman is out now. I think the fat penguin...er, lady has sung on Spidey.
Pretty simple: Sony doesn't have a streaming platform they need to juice the numbers on. Starz will get it in the usual post-home video time frame. Also, that 45 window isn't always going to apply if a movie is still doing business. Paramount already said Top Gun and Mission: Impossible will take longer.

Eternals has that plot hole too in a glaring way.
[Show spoiler]Any one of the many celestials could have turned Thanos to dust, thus avoiding a 50% chance of turning to dust themselves.

That’s not a plot hole.
[Show spoiler]It was explained that they weren’t allowed to interfere in any human affairs or anything that didn’t deal with the variants. They also were probably told they wouldn’t be affected (assuming they bothered to know Thanos’ plan.

Ehh don't buy it.
[Show spoiler]It was all life forms, so not just humans. It included the infinitude of extra terrestrial life, not to mention the Eternals themselves. Who would tell them they're not affected? And why? Sure I can look past it but plot hole.

They
[Show spoiler]aren’t life forms. They are machines. However, this is assuming they knew or bother to know what Thanos was planning to do. It did happen really fast once Thanos and his goons came to Earth. Also, they believed in Arishem was very powerful and able to control things far power than the gem stones.

I didn't get that from it.
[Show spoiler]Seemed like both eternals and celestials were life forms. Also seemed like most of the galaxy knew what Thanos was doing. The celestials would also just know because they're the celestials.

Why the hell are we suddenly talking about Eternals in this thread?

[Show spoiler]It was pretty clearly said when Arishem explains to Cersei their true mission Earth. Cersei even says they lived while others died since they weren’t ever alive. Celestials basically use the same energy that infinity stones are made up of to keep the universe. So, they could probably protect themselves from anyone using them against them from chaos/darkness. We’ll probably learn more about them in future movies since they’ll probably be the Thanos of this saga.

Mine arrived today and I just got watching the Blu-ray Extras and there isn't any deleted scenes anywhere in the menu. Just gag reels and making of extras.

That's my theory Sony has updated the discs to include the deleted scenes which will be present in the April 12 release.
