Suspecting we could at least see Sayonara Jupiter on Blu, since it was a OOP title but Right Stuf got some backstock last year which might imply they renewed the license. Maybe a upscale for Mikadroid too. I would love War in Space, maybe that one was fully sold out.

Uncut digimon sub before uncut sonic x sub... I blame TMS now. Thanks Toei for letting discotek release uncut digimon sub.

The first 5 or 6 Digimon series were SD digipaint and I don't think it was until the 2005 series that it jumped to HD. The JP movies were filmouts and have HD masters, but I think the English dubs were edited and done in SD. I imagine the first US Digimon movie (which is actually 2 Jump Festival short films and the first actual JP Digimon movie edited into one) will be very tricky. It produced by Fox and finished on film, but the other obstacle aside from working with the House of Mouse in obtaining it's IP or OCN, is weather the Angela Anaconda short (that was attached to the beginning of the movie) will be included or not. The Angela Anaconda series has big legal issues over using the faces of actual yearbook students and facility as the characters and is the reason that series hasn't seen the light of day in over 20 something years.
And don't forget the Shrek music as well.

They said they never announced a Sonix X uncut sub and it isn't planned.

I believe said voice actor even had the full original recording.

Well, I'm in for only a few, as I had figured.

Holmes of Kyoto This one came out of the blue, and is the only one I'll be chomping at the bit on - Day 1 Pre-order for me.
Fuse: Memoirs of a Huntress I have the big NIS America Premium Blu-ray release, but I missed this part of the video, so depends on what if any improvements Discotek has made for this.
Cyber City Odeo 808 SteelBook because I have the UK CE, and this is a steelbook.
Lupin - Definitely will get Part 1, and might consider the specials they announced.
Project AKo 2 - Only because I got the first one. Not really into this one, though.

That's it, the rest of what they announced is of no interest to me.

Discotek and the actor should be notified about this!

What's the deal with Violence Jack? I love super violent 80s / 90s anime but I've heard it's supposed to be pretty messed up... is it just really violent or is there weird rape / hentai / tentacle stuff or what?

They acknowledged a Gunbuster on Steelbook question and said, "who knows?"

I just found out the other two sequels were made by a different Japanese company so those film prints were probably not found.

Fussy and Kekkaishi for me, but it'll definitely be a while before I find the time for the latter.

In the Q&A section they mentioned they are including the science lesson shorts on the Gunbuster blu-ray, and they will be dubbed.

Both credit Tezuka Productions in the copyright line. The French dub was on Canadian TV as recently as 2014 (ignore the 2003 show's key art). If Tezuka really had an issue with those changes, why would they let the French version be distributed for literal decades?
The Canadian/Quebec versions were created by a sub-licensor with ties to a French company, who got their materials and international license from Nippon TV and not Tezuka Productions direct. I believe the French Parisian and other European dubs are based on the same edited version, and the Canadian versions may actually be the other way around.

Tezuka himself had a ton of involvement with the 1980 series and it's US adaptation, as he was displeased with the 1960s one and it's US butchered version. Tezuka Productions didn't have direct control of it's properties outside of the US and Japan until they recently established proper overseas branches and started to directly manage and dictate it's properties there. The French and Canadian DVDs are OOP and will probably never be seen again if Tezuka's stance is to go by.

Planning to get Symphogear GX, Kekkaishi, Digimon (subbed) and double-dip on Lupin Part I at some point. Might grab A-ko 2 after I grab the 1st film (since I'm a bit behind on Discotek pick-ups).

Did anyone ask them if the Cyber City Oedo Steelbook includes the alternate UK dub like their previous Blu-ray did?

Sorry I misread your comment, they did not confirm 3 and 4. Project A-ko 3 and 4 have the same production studios, so odds are they were in the vault as well.

I’ll look into this. I forgot where I found this information, but according to the Dubbing Wikia, it was Jay Roach that confirmed that both episodes were recorded. No idea how to contact Jay though.
