My son received his Series X today that I picked up online. The ability to play physical media (DVD, BD, UHD) was as big of a factor in me getting him the X as the other graphics specs compared to the Series S.

My Series X arrived today. I hadn't even been notified yet that my org's shipping department had moved it from surface to DHL. Win for me. Now to download the updates over my phone's 4G hotspot (hopefully I loaded enough credit).

26 hours to download the system update and installation of Forza Horizon 5 after 5 months of waiting for it to arrive. Worth the wait. The visuals are lightyears beyond the One S. And the load times are blazingly fast.

I still have my One X. It’s been turned on maybe once in 12 months. Despite that, I wouldn’t mind checking out the Series X if I could get one for under $1K.

I'm having an issue.... I'm playing the 2014 Tomb Raider on the Series S and if I go back to the game via quick resume there is no audio until I exit and relaunch the game. Is anyone else having that issue?

Also, sometimes when I push the Xbox button and click on "home" the screen will go back to my TV screen but the system will not turn off unless I press the button on the system.

Don't know about Tomb Raider, but I have experienced similar things with Forza Horizon 5 on my old One S and my new Series X. Just thankful that the startup time for the game on the XSX is so much faster than on the X1S.

Beat the first Tomb Raider and now onto the 2nd game. I haven't had that problem yet.

Need? Probably not but depending on your spending habits and patience you can save a lot with Gamepass. I’ve got so much to play between Gamepass and my Switch.

I can't buy it from Walmart. I've been trying dozens of times per day since last week whenever it's on stock but my orders are immediately canceled due to "quantity limits" (I'm ordering just one).
