Question about "Do The Right Thing"

I've saw this movie several times and I currently have it pre-ordered on Amazon. I guess the 1st question I'll ask you is if you're a Spike Lee fan? Personally, I'm a fan of his earlier releases (Do The Right Thing, She's Gotta Have It, School Daze, He Got Game). So this movie would fit in that category.

It is similar to Crash in a sense as far racial issues and relations from everyone and not just from an African American perspective. It has more humor and doesn't tell multiple stories the way Crash did. I think its a better movie than Crash no doubt and its a classic 80's movie. I would recommend it.

havent seen miracle at St anna yet, i love ww2 movies but the controversy surrounding that movie really put a bad taste in my mouth

im ok with movies based on racial issues (i love john singletons work like higher learning, etc) there was just something about crash that really turned me off

if this is slightly more comedic than i might like it better i suppose. I guess i just hated every single character in crash so much, the director made me despise all of them
