Haha. I doubt I had much of an impact, but once it was revealed that Kino wasn't releasing it, I did start sending a few e-mails to Lionsgate home entertainment department and even referenced this forum as saying there is demand. If that helped, who knows, but at least we never have to worry about the film getting a release now.

They were already planning an upcoming release when we tried to clear it through StudioCanal. Around the same time we acquired Murder by Decree, Narrow Margin, Death on the Nile, DeepStar Six...

I do wonder why Lionsgate held to life and limb with this title, but let others just lapse like DeepStar Six which was another highly requested title. If you guys had gotten it, we would have had a release years ago already. Either way, it's a moot point now.

Still thankful for all the Studio Canal titles you did release, and watched Body of My Enemy and Armageddon this past weekend and enjoyed both of the releases. Although Armageddon did have a few cases where the subtitles said something like "unintelligible" maybe 6-7 times? Either way, it wasn't the end of the world as the viewing experience was still great.

Kino,

Very excited about this.
3 questions,

1. if I remember you said scorpion/code red we’re not included on this deal?

2. Any 3d titles in this new deal?

3. Any titles that were previously not cleared that were now available?

Very excited for this deal. Love a lot of stuff from the MGM catalog. You guys are awesome!

It doesn't seem like there are any TV series in this new MGM deal, but I hope if there's another deal in the future, The Addams Family and Dark Shadows Revival could be considered.

KLInsider,

Great news on the new MGM deal!

1) Can you say what decade the TV movie is from?

2) Are any of the 50s titles sci-fi or horror?

Thanks!

I concur with whoever suggested the 70s UHDs will be Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia and The Taking of Pelham One Two Three...would be stoked for those to hit UHD! The 70s titles pique my interest...guessing they're mostly United Artists or old school Cannon titles. Maybe a TV movie thrown in. Hoping Lenny is one of the TT double dips!

I'd also like Babes In Toyland (Drew Barrymore, Richard Mulligan, Eileen Brennan, Keanu Reeves, Pat Morita, and Jill Schoelen) and Crash Course (starring lots of 80s sitcom stars).
