Come on, guys, get real. You may know some martial art well enough to recognize it, but to the rest of us it is all "kung fu", just the same as a facial tissue is a Kleenex even if it wasn't made by Kimberly-Clark.

Errrm strictly speaking Muay Thai is not Kung Fu . Although even more strictly speaking, Kung Fu isn't exactly Kung Fu

Watched Star Wars TFA. A good movie with some very good 3D, even a few pop outs. Recommended.

Edit: The neural x upmix worked very well.

So just ordered it. Amazon and other sites don't ship to US but there was a seller on eBay who did for an extra shipping charge. If interested, shop around but note prices vary between vendors.
Oddly enough that's one title I don't own, so naturally I had to get it. It's also in the Kids Collection 3D with Back to The Sea (which is worth getting) and Cinderella (which I own but haven't watched). I also ordered the Mockingjay double pack so I can get rid of the hugely oversized and overpriced box set they were originally released in.

My latest arrival is Happy Family 2, which came today.

I agree with you up to a point as kung fu has a lot of different styles, but Muay Thai uses a lot of knees and elbows so is very distinctly different.

Hi 13th

I saw the 3 pack but Cinderella was without English audio or subtitles. But it's interesting what you said about Back to the Sea. I found the 3D on the trailer very flat and the reviews were really scathing about the story. It's available separately and both together would be less expensive than the 3 pack.

Have the Mockingbird two pack - many unaware it exists. But unaware there was a Happy Family 2. Will look that up.

Thanks
Joe

That would explain why I haven't watched it! As for Back to the Sea, it's fairly mild but I did enjoy it.

The strongest of these undersea animated titles (excepting the n-Wave Sammy films of course) is Deep. One trailer that I liked was SeeFood (Fischen Impossible) but there's no English-friendly 3D edition to be found sadly.

Hi 13th,

I just ordered Happy Family 2. Read the thread and liked what I saw. Was able to find it for $18 total from jpc. Others selling it for over $30 US.

Thanks again for mentioning it.

In both packs of the Kids Collection I bought, the copies of Jock glitched at the same place. I'll try to line up the times when I get home tonight and hope you can see if yours is glitch free (and I was extremely unlucky) or all copies have an issue. Hoping it's the former and I'll order it again.

Can't wait for HP2! Whenever someone asks what's so great about 3D, I pop in the Happy Family 4D (the 12 minute ride). It's my go to demo disc:

Received this a couple of hours ago… it was on sale for ₹1220 ($16.07 / £12.34) and I grabbed it right before the sale ended. Too bad the 3rd film is not in 3D and because of this the 4th and 5th film may not be in 3D, hopefully in the future… maybe…?

Watched Star Wars TLJ. Ok, but the movie and the 3D not as good as TFA. Still can recommend.

Yeah, just booted Jock up for the first time in 3 years. Both copies still freeze at 1:02:56. Anyone else have this issue? You get around it by fast forwarding past this for a few seconds, but it's still annoying (please excuse the curtains in the background):

Bought "Happy Family 2"

From "Mack Animation" the studio behind the wonderful amusement park "Europa Park" in Rust/Germany.

Watched only the first 7 minutes. But, Wow! This is wonderful 3D, right from the start! and funny characters. English language included. Websites say it`s only region B (any confirmation?).

There's no Region B symbol on the disc or sleeve and this is a Warner Bros title so I would expect the disc to be region free, just like the first movie was.
