Indiana , you do know your jets. Anyway, catch a behind the scenes look at the intense pilot training some of the cast went through for Top Gun: Maverick in a Dolby Cinema this weekend . More comprehensively speaking, such training included in a step-wise progressive fashion: Cessna -> Extra 300 -> L-39 Albatros -> F/A-18F.

Oh, with a Naval Aviation Survival Training course thrown at them in San Diego before qualifying to fly in the jets.

Not much time now ('bout time) before our screens fly over our own very eyes and ears ... IMAX, 3D, 4K HDR, Dolby Vision, ...all that jazz.

I should alert folks that soon, if not already, you’ll be seeing Top Gun: Maverick merchandise, memorabilia, etc. showing up on places like ebay. So as not to get fooled by any knock-offs in the pursuit of possibly getting your hands on the real thing like this production cap - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread...k#post16844182 that you’ll notice some of the cast and crew wearing in the TG: M trailers, still photos in magazines and such, ask the seller to post a close-up of the inside of the cap showing the tag sewn in the band and PM me and I’ll let you know if it’s the real deal.

If the preview is any indication of how this will look and sound, then this will look and sound amazing! I didn't think I was excited for a sequel, mainly because it was just 'another sequel', but I'll admit I'm pumped for it.
