A bit of an out of place bump, but does anyone here know why Voyager dvds are so expensive? I've been tracking the complete series set for a couple of years now, and I've never seen it drop below $120 (and if it does, it's always only one website at a time, and it's always back ordered). I've tried looking at the UK set releases, and those are still as expensive as the US discs. And even my local used movie/music stores have zero copies of any Voyager discs in stock.

It's not a series that's out of print, so it's not rare or hard to find. It's not the most popular Trek show, so it's not like it's a coveted set of discs. It's (probably) not coming out on bluray, so it's not like these discs are going to be collector's items. So, I don't get it. I've purchased TNG on bluray for less than $100. I've seen sales of DS9's series set on dvd going as low as $40. But Voyager? Is there some secret as to why this show still commands ~$120-$140 for a whole set?

Is that UK set through the global store? It’s £60 on the UK store but I guess you’d have to pay shipping/import costs if it’s not going through the global store.

Worth checking eBay? Looks like there are some sellers matching the AMZ UK £60 price. No idea if they ship internationally though.

The DVD prices across the board for both VOY and DS9 are a bit silly really, considering you can pick up the TNG blus for about the same price…
