The original Medal of Honor game was created by the folks who created Call of Duty.

Oddly enough, Call of Duty: World at War was NOT made by Infinity Ward. Modern Warfare 2 will be though.

I hope it is dead!
I farking hate World War 2 games.

You have no IDEA, just how many there are on PC!

Back in the days when I used to bang out PC games, there were just too many WW2 immitation games.
MoH did have the impact, the first series did.

But I had enough, that is why I hate COD5, and I love Modern Warefare so much. It's time to move on.

Yes me to. After those they tried different things. I tried that one called Pacific something and it sucked.

The PS1 games were both really good (now available on the PSN store, btw). Also, the Allied Assault PC package was pretty awesome, I thought. But yes, since then the WWII shooter genre had been played out so much that nothing noteworthy really came since.

That's because the original developer, Infinity Ward, left EA after those games to create the Call of Duty series.

I'd like to see MOH or Treyarch (the "non-Infinity Ward") COD developers take on the Korean and Vietnam Wars for a much needed change of pace from WWII.

Agreed...I noticed that the series went sour once EA took over. And didn't Speilberg have input on the first two? Thought I read something about that.
