If anything Avengers Endgame could have been the moment that manufacturers could catch with 3D new equipments but they did nothing. Worst, just months earlier they, Disney and Marvel, stepped out from several countries with 3D and removed most dubbings/subtitles on their movies. Feet on the ground people.
