Kino Insider - I appreciate the issues involved, but do you hope to clear more horror TV movies in the next Universal deal? Hopefully there's a few on your list in any case.

Might any of these be on that list? I imagine you could fill a few two-disc, four- or five- film collections with some these, like those RKO collections from a few years ago.
Most of these would be poor performers, paying for the advance and restoration makes them too risky. Some are not cleared.

I wish we'd see some of the Karloff Columbia horror in the Sony deal - but these seemed to be not cleared in the US? The brit box set is region locked or I might have swung that instead.

I thought The Stone Killer was a stone cold turd, Scorpio (see above) and The Sentinel was just meh.

But I agree with you on the others...some real classics there.

We hope to clear a couple of others, but most of them are still not available.

I actually really like Michael Winner, and I enjoyed Scorpio from start to finish. Believe it or not, it was one of the first Burt Lancaster, Michael Winner and Alain Delon films I had seen, and because of it it led me down a rabbit hole with their filmographies. Now years later, in a way I owe Scorpio for expanding my horizons and again still enjoy the film. I honestly don't think it even really needs a new 2K remaster as the current TT release actually looks quite good, but if one were to happen, I might buy it.

That's a shame. KLSC has been very good to the Paramount pre-Code vault so far, much better in fact than Warners has been to their own, and I'd love for the rarer ones to keep coming out.

I wish I could tell you they've sold better.

If it doesn't have clearance issues, please get SHORT WALK TO DAYLIGHT (1972) with James Brolin. One of the best non-horror TV films and still MIA.

Robert Harris gave our 4K releases of A FISTFUL OF DOLLARS and FOR A FEW DOLLARS MORE 5 out 5 for video and audio. And also FLOWER DRUM SONG. I was asked not share review links from other websites, threads, so I won't.

His one hiccup, Won Ton Ton: The Dog Who Saved Hollywood, was a dog.

His 80s highlights were Death Wish II, Death Wish 3 and Appointment with Death, he also directed some really good films in the 60s.

Dirty Weekend (1993) is a gem. Very fond of the novel it’s based on as well. Both caused something of an outcry in Britain

I've never seen it, always wanted to. Not sure who owns the rights.

I believe the same goes for some of the work from Harmony Korine and Larry Clark as well.

His pre-Living End titles that he made at USC would be an incredible rediscovery

Universal in Britain, I think. I don’t believe it ever got a release in North America. I saw it in the Netherlands

Hoping that Gaumont deal is signed soon so we can start asking some questions up in here. I'm really hoping we get Speaking of Murder and Butterfly on the Shoulder. I've already forgotten if One Hundred Days in Palermo and The Killer (1972) are with Gaumont, but those would be great as well.

Looks like Red Rock West is coming out in the UK? Anyone know who has that here, as this seems ripe for a Kino release.

Any updates on the 4K restorations of Cherry 2000/Miracle Mile? I was thinking of checking those movies out, but I figured I'd wait for the new restorations.

Any chance we'll ever get a Blu-ray release of With Honors (1994)? It seems like it could be a KL release, not that I know anything about who owns the rights.

That's with WB, so maybe through WAC.
