Acceptable losses, I suppose. Those babies would have grown up, smoked dope, had premarital sex, and then be slaughtered by a masked maniac anyway.

This one annoys me almost as much as the glitch, it just looks so wrong.
I used to have a 16mm print and the credits were yellow. One was recently listed on ebay:

If you thought the hospital looks dark, then you should see the deleted scene where everything does look pitch black for a moment until the emergency generator kicks in. Haddonfield residents were just destined to die honestly tho lol

Just like in the new Halloween universe; things change. Whether you like it or not, we aren't the same as we were in the past.
It was just a joke. For all we know Harold Elrod has eclectic tastes and likes to vary his sandwiches from time to time.

Did anyone here ever play Metal Gear Solid 5 Phantom Pain? That game "borrowed" (err ripped off) the entire JLC hospital scene where she's limping down the hallway from Michael! It's the entire beginning of the game, they even have a burning man scene in it straight out of the end of the film.

"Borrowed" is still sounds kinda harsh. How about, "inspired" ? But in all seriousness, this things happen a lot in modern media but to me the most annoying thing is when creators don't even acknowledge their "inspiration" and make people believe is something original or groundbreaking when it's very obvious they just copied almost exactly the same thing. Just to get younger audiences go "wow cool sh*t bro, ain't nothin like this before".

On the other hand, this is a small hospital decades ago. Any hospital now is expected to have generators, but a small hospital in a small town in the 80's? I don't know. It does seem like they went for mood over plausibility, but I've been in a hospital late at night in my town in the waiting room, in one of the back wings, and the lights were turned way down, practically dark in the main hallway and waiting room, other than the TV being on, and I saw almost nobody the whole time. But that was just one wing of course. I imagine elsewhere in the hospital there was more going on.

What annoys me with the Tramer scene is his body can be seen falling over onto the hood of the vehicle after the explosion, then in the next shot, it's back up again, pinned to the other car. It's always been an annoying continuity issue for me. They shoudl have cut the other shot away before the body fell forward.

The ping pong disappears for like a frame or two while it's in motion, not long enough for the eye to even see it happen. It was a mistake with the DNR they applied. It could only be seen in framegrabs. It shouldn't have happened but it was not noticeable when watching.

The glitch on Halloween II lasts several seconds and can be seen with normal viewing.

That's awfully darn irresponsible.
Looks like someone is going to have to make a trip to a maternity ward to see if indeed you are correct. My guess is that the mother's are fast asleep. Or Michael murdered them all...?

I don't know how maternity wards are supposed to be run, so I can't comment any other way than I already have.

During Halloween night. The other employees are probably still at the big party, wherever that was. Or, they are in the basement worshiping the thorn symbol with Dr. Wynn.

I think someone already addressed that a nurse mentions a generator. But I could be mistaken.

Ah, don't bother. Some here in this chat forum don't care about other people's experiences. You've had to correct many already regarding the disc error. I've already corrected another poster who seems to think that since it was different in their hospital, it's the same in everyone else's, too. I guess we must carry on, though. Trying to make sense to those who have no sense.

Watching 'Summer of '84' when the milk carton keeps changing positions is kind of similar. I guess I just let these things go most of the time, because movies are never perfect. Continuity is lacking in even the biggest blockbusters some times.

There should’ve been a scene reminiscent of 101 Dalmatians where the babies escape by quietly crawling and exiting through a pet door.

I think that is what Don May Jr. from Synapse might have been talking about. Or something similar. So many of these companies issue these transfers out to companies that don't take the time to actually check everything.
