That’s good, I hope that was the case for everyone! I guess the biggest difference aside from No customs stickers is not having to wait six weeks for it to arrive!

I don't think they do that anymore. Dolittle was sent via fedex from some warehouse in Illinois, about a week after release. You don't get a tracking number from RSM but if you have a fedex account they tell you a package is on the way. I ordered J3, HT3, Dolittle, the the RE UHDs direct from RSM and only J3 was sent the slow way. The others I got within 1-2 weeks of release. They're still sent from Australia in the sense that you don't get your shipping notice for several days after the release, I assume because the copies are shipping in bulk to USA, but via air not ship like J3. I'll post the rest of my thoughts on today on Thursday but I wanted to get that out now lol.

Sweet Jebadiah! You don't think the price on this will go up before release? I would like to hold off a bit to see if anything else is announced by then, and to see how many orders there were by then.

They won't ship to UK due to a shipping embargo? Australia might or used to have one with the USPS.

I ordered 3 hours ago and my order number is 1797. I wonder if their order number increments are for one sole title like Spiderman, or for every online order each day regardless of what's being ordered.

I wondered about that. I guess it comes down to how long has their new website been up (around when Jumanji 3 came out on 3D) and does 1800 total orders sound like too much or too little in that time?

It sounds like too few, but, my Doolittle/Baby Boss 2 double order had a number of 1,624, and none today seem to have been lower, so... Guessing it's cumulative. Could be by country, though.

I have several previous Random Space 3D movies that I ordered off Amazon US. But now that Random Space has secured and offered No Way Home on 3D, I will order directly from Random Space. It deserves 100% of the profit. Random Space is #1! Order 2007.

Holy smokes RSM has really come through on this one. Instant pre-order of course, I don't care from where or how it's being shipped. What fantastic news for 3D fans.

It's like a gift from the Multiverse from somewhere that 3D home video is still mainstream. Even though the 3D doesn't sound top tier from people's theater viewings I still preordered from RSM to support a great company. Keep these big 3D releases coming!

Hello brother, I was 1796.

This discussion makes me think again about the economics of releasing a 3D disc in the current market. Even with all of us here and on Random Space's Facebook page being super hyped for this release, 3D Blu-Rays are obviously still an extremely niche market. Today's order numbers show that even with all this hype there are only a couple hundred pre-orders so far. The total number of pre-orders by release day seem likely end up in the thousands. I see people often posting things about studios losing "millions" by not publishing a 3D disc, and that's just not realistic. It's a passionate niche market so there's definitely value, but the sales aren't going to bring in world-changing money. This is especially true when considering that many people who would have bought the 3D disc, will still end up buying a standard Bluray or UHD disc is 3D isn't available (those of us boycotting flat releases on this forum are the exception, not the rule.) The last big US release Dune 3D sold approx. 3000 copies in it's first week based on stats from this site and The-Numbers.com. That's decent sales, but we're not moving mountains.

Anyway, this is all to re-iterate the point that all of us who want these 3D releases to continue have got to vote with our wallets and support every release that comes out! Thanks Random Space!

I agree. I ordered all my RSM's directly from their site and also why I buy books and movies from my other favorite retailer, Hamilton Books even though I've been an amazon prime member for years

Combo packs solve this, (why have multiple "SKU"s?) but for some reason, those went the way of the dodo in the UHD + 3D era.

If I weren't on this forum, I likely wouldn't have known about this or Dune 2021 3D, due to their lack of advertisement and reduced availability. On the plus side, almost 2,000 people were apparently able to preorder NWH 3D before I heard the news that it was confirmed, I think that's pretty good.

It’s more than unfortunate, I’m literally thinking of pulling the plug on my 14yr 3D Blu ray addiction.

I ordered within minutes of this going live on the RSM website and my order number is 1687. So if order numbers are now into the low 2000s, then it looks like there are just over 300 orders so far.

I think a huge chunk of RSM’s sales are acquired via Amazon, which is why we’ve seen their releases pop up on at least three international Amazon stores (US, Canada, UK). This will likely sell hundreds/thousands of additional copies once it is on Amazon with Prime shipping.

Why all the doom and gloom? This will almost certainly be available to order on Amazon UK shortly after its release in July or August. Pretty sure Dolittle, Jumanji, and Hotel Transylvania 3 are all available on Amazon UK, so there’s no reason to think this won’t be. If for some reason it’s not, I’m sure a member here would be happy to send you a copy.

Great timing! Just as the sequel to the biggest 3D movie in history is about to hit!

Is it possible that you were beaten to the draw by 1,686 other 3D aficionados? I don't want to imply that you're not the quickdraw champion but I also don't want to believe that only ~300 people have ordered NWH 3D so far
