I would say all of those slips arrived in near perfect condition. Almost all of the JP slips had some issue, but not due to Bullmoose. It was mainly the varying severity of the art having small spots where the metallic silver finish is seen so you have silver dots popping up. Seems to be common and almost unavoidable. Mainly looked the worst on the first movie with the solid black background.

I order almost everything from Bullmoose and it has cut my aggravation way down. Even when I have a slip arrive with an issue that bugs me and head out to a retailer to see if there is something better, almost none of them are. Slips at retailers are often not great for anyone looking for perfect (which is probably 2 people).

One of those weirdos who needs a near mint slipcover. Hunted down a good Jurassic Park 1 in Target, now unsure what to do about the rest of the series. The slipcovers on these are amazing.

Jurassic Park purported 35mm DTS Cinema mix

There is some noise in all the channels above ~17khz which I intend to investigate further. Maybe something original to the source or perhaps introduced by whomever made the file.

The DVD DTS mix has been filtered a bit below that range but it is unclear on why that is the case, perhaps something due to the DTS DVD spec back then with half rate tracks or something done for both DD and DTS tracks for DVD deliverables.

Well, just ordered all the solo Hitchcocks and Jurassic Parks/Worlds, so even though it is no longer a preorder, I don't receive a bunch of separate packages.

I just went to Target earlier and saw Jurassic Park 4K release and I bought it, but when I got home I didn't know there was a 4K collection of all five movies for a few dollars more. So I'm going back to Target to return it and buy the collection instead. I want all current 5 movies.

With the sixth film out or coming out, the four and five film collections would drive me nuts.

IMO Anyone who's held off this long should just wait for the inevitable 6-film set coming out (in tandem with the UHD release of Dominion) this fall.

I held off because I don't like my movies together, and then the slim cases would look stupid next to the normal cases. If I could have only gotten a set, then yeah that's fine, but only after all of them are out.

Well, that would make more sense than a set with an incomplete trilogy. This is why I went with the UK trilogy rather than the 4 movie set in the US. Park series being different from World series. But I think I just like the uniformity of these solo releases, including the posters except for the 3rd for whatever reason.

Doubt anybody's gotten it from Gruv yet. Mine shipped on the 5th, took 7 days to actually be given to USPS and now it's in Memphis and won't be here until Tuesday even though Memphis is only 4 hours away lol

I'm hoping they shipped it in a box since it was 4 but I'm not expecting that to have happened... so that'll be 12 days sitting in those blasphemous sticky cardboard things that are sealed too tight and everything will probably trashed.

You were lucky, my pre-order shipped on the 5th but had absolutely no movement until today. Gruv needs to find a better shipping method because whatever they're doing that makes it take 7 days to give it to USPS is not working.

Yup. I never got the 4K set because I despise 3, 4, 5 and I'm sure 6 will suck too. I may be crazy for spending $40 for just the 2 when I could get the set for the same price, but the original poster art brings back such nostalgia.

Nice to finally have individual, non-digibook 4K releases of the earlier films.

Picked up the 1st Jurassic Park and Jurassic World 4Ks from Walmart this week for $20/each. I guess they figured they wouldn't get many takers for TLW or JP3, so they didn't bother. Hoping to grab those over the weekend from a store in Toronto; just need to make time to head down there.

Transferred the 3-D discs for both films into the new 4K sets after swapping out the cases for 3-discers.
