- Includes at least one 3D title
- Includes a few Republic titles
- Includes some titles released by Imprint in Australia

- No titles previously released solely as BD-Rs by Paramount
- No serials

- Films seemingly ruled out for various reasons: Borsalino, Gunn, Little Darlings, Looking for Mr Goodbar
Does anyone have a sound list of what titles the ones that never got a disc release might be? There can't be a ton of them I'd think.

Does anyone have a list of Paramount titles released by Lionsgate that have yet to be re-issued by Paramount themselves? I'm aware of Drop Zone, Jade and Hard Rain.

Hate to be that guy but I'm guessing The Keep is still a no-go?

Given Kino already had it under licence previously (as well as Shout thereafter it seems), I doubt anything has changed.

Playing Devil's advocate with regards to A Simple Plan. The Paramount employee never stated it was with Shout. It's entirely possible that Kino had already inked a deal with Paramount and licensed it at the time of his tweet to Duke.

This means that Monster Squad (with the old extras) and The Running Man are a no-go. Still means stuff like Paper Moon are Targets are a possibility. Definitely down for a wider release of the theatrical cut of The Warriors if they can get it. That Imprint release is pricey and will probably sell out pretty quick.

Wouldn't Double Jeopardy be a very likely pick too? I mean the movie did generate 180 million at the box office.

Yeah I think it is. When I was lookng through possibilities, I cross-checked whether there was a US release already, adn from the drop-down search bar I saw this:

Which now looking at the actual page, turned out to be a fake listing ..So yeah, I would add DJ to the list as a good possibility as well.

Olive Films released those two, so those won't be released.

Well they were among those picked up by Olive, so I didn't mention those (not least since Olive titles are not included in the deal).

You're both right, my bad. I completely forgot about that. Maybe My Bloody Valentine? I know SF recently released a new BD, but maybe Kino might have the UHD rights?

KLI did like Duke's post "Another label picked it up months ago." in response to mine though. The plot thickens, perhaps?

That's the big question - will Paramount allow separate 4K UHD rights, as MGM did, in which case in-print Shout and Criterion titles could be included. You'll note the Kino Insider said 'most' of the 4K UHD titles in the deal 'are currently available from the studio'. That would suggest a few possibilities:

1) Something not currently available from Paramount because it's OOP (can't think of anything obvious that would be 4K UHD worthy)

2) Something that was released by another label but is now OOP (The Duellists is probably the only realistic possibility in this regard)

3) They've access to 4K UHD rights for in-print Criterion and/or Shout titles

I figured they liked it because it saved them the hassle of answering the question. I would think A Simple Plan would be a title Shout would go for, but again, nothing is ever for sure it seems.

I really like the movie but recently I saw a picture of a 2022 Ashley Judd and she looked awful. Her face is almost disfigured from being overly botoxed.

I also like "Twisted" from her, another Paramount film.
