The master for Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine is vertically stretched all throughout the film. In other words, everything looks thinner and taller than it should. This was also seen on the 2012 TGG DVD and the UK Films 101 release. In contrast, the 2001 MGM DVD is correct even though it is non-anamorphic. I'm not normally a nit-picker, but if you're going to be reissuing the film, perhaps it's something that you could look into. Of course, I have no idea of knowing if this would be a simple fix or not.

They licensed the film from us and decided to do that. We did not, we don't like the colors on the 4K restoration.

On our 2-disc release:
The version with Italian opening/closing credits is seen in Italian.
The version with English opening/closing credit is seen in English.
And the U.S. cut of THE FAMILY.

It's available, so if someone did pick it up, they never released it. We may look into releasing it if and when we do another deal with MGM.

No, but some of my all-time favorite movies are part of this deal and all of them will be released for the first time on 4KUHD. And some great first time on Blu-ray titles, some first time in the U.S. and some first time anywhere.

I'm just advocating hard for it's release. It mirrors his career and later years... Making it more important than many of his other works... Especially the B movie stuff. Not that those do not deserve a release either. They all do.

I know who owns the North American rights for the Bronston films (El Cid, 55 Days at Peking, The Fall of the Roman Empire, Circus World) and its not Lantern.

70s John Wayne is great, I love Big Jake, The Cowboys, McQ, Brannigan, The Shootist and like Chisum, Rio Lobo, The Train Robbers, Cahill U.S. Marshall. The only one I'm not too crazy about it Rooster Cogburn.
