Guess Universal didn't have the cajones to release Dune 1984 in 4K because it was such an bomb theatrical. Or perhaps Arrow/KL offered a better licensing deal than doing it themselves for a cult film. Good thing since they did provide pretty good releases.
There have been a few rather limited instances of some episodes for a few shows being pulled due to extremely egregious conduct perpetuated by certain actors in their personal or professional lives and not for the characters they were portraying. Not exactly a dramatic trend to be overly riled up by but some peeps sure love their disproportionate undue persecution complexes. Anyhow perhaps I am wrong and in this current environment Blazing Saddles couldn't be made today.... ![]() |
