Default Star Trek Season 1 cases

I'm just curious. My blu-ray set case doesn't do a very good job of holding the discs. Sometimes the discs are all out inside and thats how I ended making an exchange because one of the discs was scratched. Anyone else have this problem? What was your solution? Where can one find a replacement blu-ray case?

I've had no issues with the case.

I have not had that problem, thankfully. I do not think you will find a 7 disc case, the most I have found fro sale is 2 disc cases. I would love to get some multi disc (4+) cases, but alas...

I think disc 7 (or whatever the last disc is) was loose when I bought it. Not scratched though, so I just popped it back into place and all has been well since.

And god yes. Why no one sells them is still a mystery to me. I'd kill for some multidisc cases

my disc 7 was loose and would not stay in place for the longest time..i eventually figured out you really have to push the middle of the bluray so that it clicks into the tray

I think in order to make the case so thin (it does after all hold 7 discs in the space of a dvd double kep case) they had to make the disc holders more shallow, so you need to make sure they click in before closing the case

I had a hard time finding the 3 disc case and it would be almost impossible to buy a 7 disc case. Only way is to buy it from members selling it or do a trade.

Yeah I'm having a slight problem. Like Wdm81, my 7th disc never stay's where it's suppose to be. Luckily, I don't move the case soo much so it doesn't slide around, but it pisses me off because I have to open it soo carefully.

Its the first and seventh disk that never stay in place for me. I think part of the problem is that I never watch more than one episode at a time so I am constantly removing and returning disks. Thankfully with respect to this thread I am done with the season so I will not have a problem for a while. On the other hand, Lost S1 and S2 appear to have a similar problem as I can already tell the disks are loose in the packaging.

I end up not getting one because it was difficult to find. A friend end up giving me a 2 disc case to replace my 3 disc case. Sometimes forum members would have some to trade here.

My disc seven was loose, but not scratched. It has stayed ever since.

I've noticed the same thing. Especially the spots where discs 1 and 7 are held seem to be subject to this, probably because they're attached to the outer case. But I've noticed that if you handle them with enough care and don't make sudden swinging movements with the case, they stay in place.

Kirk: "Mr Spock! Could these loose discs pose a threat to this ship and its blu-ray collection?"
Spock: "It seems highly illogical, captain, that these minor mishaps would damage the discs' protective layer."
Kirk: "Bones, medical opinion?"
Bones: "Dammit Jim! I'm a doctor, not a blu-ray snap case!"

Sorry, I devoured the whole set, loving every minute and am still in a Star Trek vibe
