Arrow. Only Desperado.
Lame.

But hey, if you're excited that's cool.

Gripe when you have proof. Just because DESPERADO appears on a card doesn’t mean the other two films in the EL MARIACHI Trilogy aren’t coming, too.

Sounds like someone is still sulking because no one was impressed with you posting about this in the other thread...

Arrow does postcards for individual films not box sets. They had a hint that said MEX Box, so it's very likely not just Desperado.

Run me through your definition of the word “lame” again, then I’ll run you through mine.

Cool thanks - didn't know that. Sounds promising. Hopefully they don't mess it up somehow!

I would be excited for a standalone 4K of Desperado

El Mariachi is cool, but despite loving OUATIM in my youth, upon a rewatch, I found it, let's just say, not for me.

I could see Arrow doing the Trilogy as well as Desperado on it's own.

I should watch them all again some time. I wouldn't be surprised if I agreed with you

Desperado is the best one though so it wouldn’t surprise me if that’s the only one they wanted.

Wasn't there a postcard around for 36th Chamber of Shaolin but that is long rumoured to be in the next Shaw Bros boxset?

Oddly the only one I like is El Mariachi. I've got that double Blu release just for mariachi. So that's the only one I'm hoping for haha

Yep, there was. Just in case my first post wasn't clear, I mean, Arrow wouldn't make a singular postcard that advertises an entire box set (that I've seen at least), but rather put out postcards with individual films from such a set. As a recent example, there was a postcard for The Killer Reserved Nine Seats, which was later announced in the Giallo Essentials Black Edition.

Same. Desperado will always hold a special place in my heart because it was the one I grew up watching, but I re-watched all three movies recently (courtesy of the German trilogy blu-ray) and found El Mariachi to be far and away the best of the bunch. It's an absolutely incendiary debut. I intensely dislike Once Upon a Time in Mexico - IMO it's an unbearable piece of shit.
