This is so much better than paying a digital Disney subscription.

[Show spoiler]Now I have movies I'm never gonna watch, FOREVER.

Placed an order for both Target exclusives for home shipping:
- The King's Man
- Turning Red

Thinking about ordering more.

the original is my favorite musical of all time... I KNOW it won't be the better film... but I do think it will be a worthy remake with Spielberg's talent.
Looking forward to seeing it

This seems like the Disney/Pixar/Marvel Steelbook blowout at Best Buy

But hey, I’m not complaining!

Had to google to find Eternals, it's sold out I'm guessing those others are as well, just google '[name of film] target exclusive'

Are West Side Story and The King's Man considered Disney titles which are likely to remain more expensive than other studio distributed titles?

Many 4K movies sell for $10 during the holidays, but Disney ones rarely drop below the $13-$15 range. Even with a large B1G60% order via DMC the best you can do is usually $15 each barring a special discount like West Side Story had.

Disney distributes them since Disney closed 20th Century’s home video department so they are Disney titles.

Thanks for confirming that. That means they are less likely to hit $10 than say a Lionsgate, Paramount or Warner distributed 4K, so $13-$15 might be as cheap as they ever get.

My local Target had Cruella, Jungle Cruise, and The King's Man exclusives.

I'm not double dipping like I used to and have all the Disney movies in steelbook form.

King's Man was the only one I didn't have though as I didn't enjoy the movie as much as the first 2. I was waiting for a sale, and $15 seemed decent enough for a store exclusive.

Thanks to the users who mentioned these on sale!

Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I notice my local Target still had 2 copies of the Shang Chi exclusive 4K and I thought maybe they might ring up as $15 like some of the others. So I checked the price on the scanner and nothing came up. Went to the service desk and ask after some digging it’s not being sold anymore and these were two that fell through the cracks.

So bottom line is I got it for 70% off the $34.99 list price. So with my Red Card and tax came to $10.59

It's a solid bet given they're under Disney's control, and the CEO of Disney is the guy who literally thought up the "Disney Vault" strategy of releasing classics on VHS once every 7 years to keep the price up.

The “Disney Vault” no longer exists at Disney with the debut of Disney+. Now it is used to informally refer to Disney’s withholding of films from theatrical re-release.

It’s sold out at Target but if you find one in store you might get the low price. Thanks for posting and happy hunting.

Obviously one of the most popular of the recent Disney Target Exclusives as it's sold out. It took $15 price point to sell out Eternals, Raya and Encanto.
