Haven't watched this movie yet, is it worth it to buy the Arrow BD over renting the Kino BD?
I could be wrong but I believe the Kino doesn’t have the original Italian audio. Personally I find most of Bava films unwatchable in English dub, so yes the Arrow is absolutely worth it.

Is this true. Has LAM been found?

Seeing the Day The Clown Cried pic a few posts down makes me think not.

No, unfortunately. There was a silly article in the past month about an Aussie film historian who thinks that if it's found anywhere, it would be down under. Apparently, they were one of the last places to receive films for distribution, and often the studios wouldn't want to pay for the freight back to the US, so the prints were usually just left there. Unless he knows more than he's letting on about where exactly he could locate lost films, it was a lot of nothing.

KL Insider.

Would Bertolucci's The Spider's Stratagem or Ferrara's The Moro Affair be titles you'd be interested in?

I'm right there with you with wanting Deliverance in 4k, with HDR this movie would look fantastic.

Up until its actual release to theatres, I Wake Up Screaming was known by a different title, Hot Spot. I have a few publicity photos, and have seen the original poster art with the original title. I don't know why Fox changed the title at the last minute. My best guess is that they didn't want the public to think that Hot Spot was about Betty Grable dancing in a nightclub. The film was remade (poorly) in 1953 as Vicki.

I knw KLI doesn't comment on titles, but if there is a new Sony deal, The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada might be a good addition to the catalog.

Does anyone know how Kino ship their blu-rays? Are they sent in a mailer or a regular envelope?
I'm considering pre-ordering directly from them but I want to make sure the slipcovers do not arrive damaged.

They tend to ship in a box. The fewest I've ever bought from them was two items and they still shipped in a box.

Same, I've only ever received Kino orders in a box with bubble wrap. Never a problem with slips.

some like it hot 4k. the last sale from kino store had this title around $23 to $24 range.

it's $20 on amazon right now, do you think future kino store sales will make this title go lower than $20?
