^^^ I agree, this is getting frustrating but this is when/how character is defined. I'm in it 'till it's over.

As for what the OP said, I don't think that would end it. Only because, BD sales have repeatedly demonstrated where the consumers are, and that apparently wasn't enough for Paramount/Dreamworks/Universal/Warner.

I do however, feel that if all studios went neutral, then it would be a price war--more so than now--and that would lead to the end of the format war. So I guess, in the end, yes, that would end it.
