From the same sale, I went with both. Both are good, but I think I love King Kong much more.

The scenes added to the Extended cut are excellent. I understand they had to cut some length but I wish they would have left those.

Default Serenity

Serenity King Kong was disappointing. I like the Jessica Lang version better.

Yeah, Jessica Lange is the only reason that I watch the 1976 version of King Kong whenever it comes on TV. She was so damn sexy in that version!!

King Kong all the way. I never could get into Serenity or Firefly. Kong has reference PQ and AQ. The AQ is outstanding.

Love them both but gotta say Kong, demo disc in every sense, not a terrible movie (if a bit long) either.

The running time shouldn't make too much of a difference as you could just make it a double feature, I used to do that with the EE of LOTR.

Serenity is damn good though too, can't go wrong either way IMO

Serenity or death! No let's be serious i only enjoyed the part where Kong is in search of Naomi Watts and throws away every other person who's not Naomi, i feel for him because sometimes i'm tempted to do the same thing with other Women besides Naomi. And i've got nothing but love for Serenity but i've you haven't seen Firefly i don't think it works because it was in some ways the final chapter to the Series and all the stories and jokes relate to Firefly.

Definitely Serenity. Kong, IMO, is all visuals and fluff and the movie ends up boring me.

It won't be everyones cup of tea.

I seen both. King Kong was very good PQ but the storyline for me was crap and it could of been cut by 1 and a half hours easy.

As for Serenity I loved it and it had more replay value for me. So my vote goes to Serenity

Being a fan of Firefly I would go for Serenity. It's an awesome film and a good Blu-ray.
