But if you have what is considered the best 4k and then you hear a remastered is coming out it's best to sell right away before word gets out. Because if you wait then you won't get as much. When I had LionsGate 4k HALLOWEEN and I heard SHOUT! was putting out a 4k. I sold it on that day. Same thing I did with ONE ARM BOXER bluray from HK.

I don't think I remember any other home video release with a music video in the package... Probably worth getting for that alone.

You mean for this film? Or any film?

I'm just always paranoid that an announced release will be cancelled. It's happened a few times, like Duel, way, way back in the day on DVD, which was announced, then cancelled, then pushed by a couple of years, as I remember.

Yeah, like Highlander 4K. I had that one on order with Bull Moose. Release date came and went and it was finally canceled then. Thank goodness I still had my slipcovered Blu-ray

I held on to my STAR TREK blurays because they looked great but then I watched 4k boxset of the STAR TREK and I saw those were way better. I couldn't give those STAR TREK blurays away.

I'd consider that a worthwhile financial loss, given the alternative - that the BDs got cancelled, or they turned out to have some flaw that made the old version superior.

Again, it's a personal choice, but I never sell a disc until I have a new version in hand and have watched it and know it's superior.

Well, definitely for this film. But other films as well afaik. I'm far from a collector, but many movies that had accompanying music videos that I always enjoyed didn't have those... You Could Be Mine, Hold Me Thrill Me... and so on.

This is actually the first time this music video has ever been officially released on disc. There is an Annie Lennox music video compilation that it was not included on. Usually those types of music videos that include clips from the film aren't worth the added expense for the artist to include on their discs.

That said, you should check out the following discs, which all have music videos:
A League of their Own
Top Gun
The Wrestler
Batman/Batman Forever/Batman Returns
Love Actually
Back to the Future
Dirty Dancing
Goonies
Purple Rain
Streets of Fire
many of the Bond films

That's just off the top of my head.

Well, not surprise I don't have most of these. And the U2 track isn't on Batman Forever.

Not sure if this has been discussed already, but the NEWLY ADDED Blood Lines – Dracula: The Man, The Myth, The Movies Featurette is actually a 29 min. long making of documentary that was included on the original 1999 UK single disc DVD release, originally titled "DRACULA: The Man, The Myth, The Legend".

This one.

Not only the UK. My German DVD (which did remind me of the good old days the other day before von der Leyen ruined German covers
[Show spoiler]before she ruined the EU

And? Kiss from a Rose is.

Like I said, it comes down to licensing. Seal is on WB, which is also the studio that put out Batman. U2 is on Atlantic.

It was originally on HBO and one of the initial laserdisc releases, long before the DVD.

It is. That's why I downloaded the music video when I made my own bonus disc for the Batman films.

Instead of NEWLY ADDED, Sony should have put BACK FROM THE DEAD or RISEN FROM THE GRAVE instead. Mind you, whoever put the press release together probably wasn't even born when the film came out, much less knew that extra existed on a previous DVD. Although, to be fair, it also hasn't been on Blu-ray before, so technically they're correct that it's "newly added" to the film on 4K UHD Blu-ray.

Agreed.
'Kiss From A Rose' and 'Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me' were awesome (and for me better than the movie itself)

Yes, great list!

'Top Gun' and 'Streets Of Fire' are two of my absolute favourite 80's soundtracks.

My first job was at a 3 screen Cinemark theatre inside the local mall and I got to hear this while cleaning the auditorium every time we got to clean it. It never got old.
