I was wondering if I should pick this up for watching, but i didn't know if it was worth it because of the already amazing movie told the story perfectly. This has decided it for me.

Their own fault for not telling the whole story and trying to stretch it out to multiple seasons. Multiple seasons only works with a series of comics/books, not a solo novel.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they intended to expand the story: add other time travelers, that sort of thing.

At least Game of Thrones was multiple books, not their fault the author won't finish. The Hobbit definitely shouldn't have been three movies though.

I haven't watched it but apparently they only adapted less than half the book for season 1, so it doesn't end on a cliffhanger but is obviously unfinished.

The new WarnerDiscovery continues to make baffling decisions.

Chad cancelled at TBS before its second season debut. The complete season will not air on TBS as scheduled. Rather the network executives are looking for a new home for the show.

I don't see why they don't throw it up on HBO Max, which is where I'm sure Miracle Workers 4th and future seasons will probably move to. They've paid for it, the season has been completely filmed, now they're not airing it? I don't even watch this show but I can guarantee that it's better than any reality/unscripted content they're going to offer in the future. But I'm still pissed at TBS for cancelling People of Earth and at TruTV for cancelling I'm Sorry.

Cannot wait Discovery makes HBO Max useless bunch of reality show like their Discovery channels. WB/CW were terrible, but this does not sound good at all.

Well, I guess that explains why I suddenly stopped seeing commercials for it after seeing them for about a month straight when watching AEW Dynamite.

I never watched the show nor ever cared to, but that's still a baffling decision. I know they are basically killing all scripted television on both of their networks, but to cancel it right before it was going to start airing is something I basically have never seen. Like others have said, it's also baffling that they didn't just move it to HBO Max right away. I guess they figure that defeats the purpose of canning it, which is to save money.

Seems like paying for it and not airing it at all would be losing money, plus couldn't the production companies sue them? It wasn't produced by WB but still seems weird that they'd renew it and pay the actor salaries and production costs and just be like nah we're good.
