Hi cdx

Yogi is really fun to watch and has exceptional 3D. It was the only disc I saw as a demo back when.......

Just watched Real Bugs 3D for the first time. Outstanding 3D and fun to watch.

Also interesting is a small segment from Bugs 1 and 2 originally recorded flat and then converted to 3D. The conversion shows how good quality depth and layering can be achieved even on what I suppose is a limited budget.

Highly recommended for the feature and supplements.

I just received brand new sealed copy of the BFG. I can't quite remember why I decided to buy it, but I dimly remember watching it in 2D and enjoying it. Although looking through the disc I don't remember much of it at all. The 3D looks like it will be mostly mild but I did come across a fun 3D moment towards the end of the movie with stuff dropping from the sky. But it's a Spielberg movie so it should be good, it's 3D and I just found out that it's Dolby Atmos too

It's too bad that Spielberg and Scorsese dropped out of releasing movies in 3D. Ridley Scott lasted a bit longer and seemed inclined to keep putting out 3D product, before it was derailed with Alien Covenant. Hope Ang Lee continues. If 3D just had a few more advocates, it might be a different ball game today.

Then again, maybe not. Who knows?

Did Ridley Scott last longer? His last 3D movie was The Martian in 2015. Spielberg's The BFG came out in 2016. Spielberg also had Ready Player One in 3D in 2018...

I have the french edition. You are in for a treat. One of the most colorful movies I have ever seen, and like Minuscule, there is barely any dialogue. At the beginning there is a little girl saying “goodbye my little monkey, goodbye”. And that is it.

I just placed an order for this, 3D Town: A Look Into Littleton/New Hampshire Seasons, and Why We Farm/Maine Seasons. Yep, I finally took the plunge on Variety Films 3D oeuvre. From the trailers I’ve seen and from what I’ve read, I should be in for a stereoscopic treat!

I bought that Forbidden Girl movie but I have yet to watch it. I have a lot of movies in shrink wrap still and need to catch up.

Hi Damon

I think you'll like it. I still have four in shrink wrap myself along with two more on the way. Not to mention pre-orders of Thor and I, the Jury

You used the correct emoji there lol. Did not like his Batman on first watch. But apparently he's based on Thomas Wayne and I liked him a little better in Snyder's Justice League. I still think the suit makes him look bloated.

Maybe because of the Daredevil's backlash that he sucked performing Matt Murdock. I loved Daredevil when i rented it on DVD back in the days. Matt Murdock is a blind super hero with a cane, and i don't understand the reasons for it to be trashed as it is until this day. And since day one that Ben Affleck was indicated as being Batman for the BvS movie clash i knew he would be one of the best characters for that movie and i sure wasn't wrong. Ben Affleck's performance in BvS is superb, not only he did one of the most intense trainings on camera but he also delivered an tormented and cold vigilante with real hate for Superman's hypothetical threat. The fight on the warehouse is also great as it shows a brutal Batman fighting criminals as like the first incarnation in the comics.

Daredevil didn't even enter my mind, I just don't like that Batman. But there's a couple of things that I didn't like in isolation that make more sense once I watched Snyder's trilogy and got the full context. This is one of them.
