Well, don't forget the "blade" concept. There have been blade servers for years. Very modular and easy to upgrade. That has been the problem with the old combo's. Many times you couldn't replace the player.

A standardized "blade concept" would let people buy any "blu-blade" they want for the TV. In fact, the TV doesn't need to come with a player. Just remove the panel and plug in a "blu-blade", or cable box, etc.
