Blu-ray Knight

Watched this one today which is the 2nd I've seen in the set. Unfortunately the movie didn't really do much for me and after 20 minutes I started dozing and thinking about other things. Sorry to anyone who likes this movie. Fortunately I do feel like I mostly followed the plot, despite this. And some parts did engage me more, like the fights.
[Show spoiler]The bombing scenes were pretty well done I suppose give the 50s technology. Obviously it doesn't really compare to more modern depictions of PH.

Picture is good though like It Happened One Night. There is lots of grain and detail in comparison to the included bu-ray.
[Show spoiler]The bombing scenes sounded very good through my headphones.

I put the specials on it the background while I did other stuff. I didn't even realize Sinatra was in it when I was watching but it made perfect sense once I saw that. Sp I acknowledge it was clear from these specials that it was a significant movie at the time and pushed the envelope, maybe the proximity to the events was part of that. It's interesting the specials in this set on the UHDs are all in 1080i. The UHD also has some kind of TV special/remake of the movie...it calls it a pilot, I wasn't sure exactly what it was. I watched
[Show spoiler]the bombing scenes
and just skipped through the rest.

Blu-ray is fortunately region free and only has a few short specials, other than the doc that plays with the movie in the background but it seemed to be repeated from the making of on the UHD.

Well it's pretty unlikely I'm watching again, so I would only recommend this if you're already a fan.
