I wish they would do more making of documentaries for their releases. I remember the first scream factory disk I ever bought was the Halloween 2 blu ray. It had a making of featurette with all of the cast that was almost as long as the movie itself. It feels like they never have anything like that anymore.

It's easier - and cheaper - to hire a videographer who will point a camera at a subject and press record. The days of true documentaries are sadly long behind us.

Weird, I never got an e-mail from them about this and had no idea they wanted us to e-mail them about our orders. Usually they just tell you to chill that we are getting to them all. I just sent them a note on their order inquiry page. Hopefully they let me know.

Well, 11/8 came and went, and I didn't get a shipping notice for my final order. I'll e-mail them tomorrow.

Did you check your spam folder just in case because sometimes some emails that I receive in my regular mailbox in the past have sometimes ended up in the spam folder?

That's what I did earlier today I was getting very impatient since it's been a whole month since ordering now. They said by tomorrow there should ship. Thank god.

I know they don’t do them regularly anymore but would anyone recommend some good lengthy Red Shirt pictures docs from Shout’s line? Love these productions.

Red Shirt pictures now does all the special features on the Vestron Line of releases. I'm not sure if Scream Factory Cheaped out and Red Shirt was hired away from them, or if they (Scream Factory) just decided to move in a new direction (it's been said that SF like to list a lot of special features on the cases instead of one longer feature length doc as it provides the illusion of more content) but either way, when SF moved away from Red Shirt pictures the quality of their releases took a definite hit. Red Shirt stands head and shoulders about everyone else as far as I am concerned.

I am still missing 7-8 titles from my Shocktober orders. I thought they had pulled through, when I saw a couple of shipping notices in my mail this morning. But they only shipped a couple of titles.

Going through my orders, I also just discovered that by mistake I have ordered two copies of Scars of Dracula. Not the best movie to own two copies of, I have to say ...

Does Kino have a deal with MGM? Cause now that Scream doesn't have Gordon's From Beyond I figured they could release it.

Is Red Shirt Pictures the only US-based extras producer? Ballyhoo does a lot of good work, some feature length docs. Based in Canada if I'm not mistaken. So few production companies for so many new releases. Felsher must be losing his mind tackling so many projects.
