Let us know how it arrives. I've had pretty good luck ordering from Amazon Italy and Germany. Not so much from Amazon France. The one time I ordered a steelbook, it arrived bent.

It would certainly be welcomed if they did both on their own discs. I will pay
The old masters are all a bit saturated and almost hazy looking in a way. These differ depending on the format and release you’re looking at. They can also be quite a bit noisy. Jumping to letterboxed releases this is somewhat still there. The Criterion LD is the best of all these and has the 1982 mix in pcm. So basically if you have the Criterion and also the DC CAV LD you’re set on the old masters. Unless you really want that Embassy pan n scan version. The DC master is without any of the issues or saturation of the older releases.

I was given a rip of 1983 LD from Embassy, it is definitely 'hazy', CLV all over. I have only seen a regraxe project using the colour timing of that 1989 Criterion LD unfortunately but not the real thing.

I ordered the French UHD 35th Anniversary set today.
I already have the 5-DVD Ultimate Edition and the Final Cut on BD, I just wanted the old cuts on BD. Workprint would have been nice but that train is gone.
Just I don't understand why the FC is on DVD instead of the regular BD.

Now if only it could be arrive undamaged... (I'm in Italy)

But this thing you ordered does have the Workprint. Five cuts.

It's kinda amazing that French set is still in print all these years later with how cheap it goes for at times. I though for sure I grabbed one of the last ones like 3 years ago.

Meanwhile, the UK one sold out in like a few months.

I count 4 cuts: Final, 1982 US, 1982 Int, Director's.
Unless the WP is on Bonus Material Disc.

As for the rest, I just don't understand why one specific item goes OOP in one Country but not in the other, especially if the discs are the very same.

Dally told me a while back that Workprint was excluded from the Japanese archival disc because it was on one of the bonus discs. So one disc here shares the two 1982 cuts and DC, one has the Final in 4K, one the Final on DVD, and the last is the bonus disc with the Workprint... on a BD instead of a DVD?

Yeah, the workprint shares a disc with Dangerous Days and various other extras.

So that disc has everything that's on the DVDs marked 2 and 4 in the American 4K. Okay, good.

It says in the description on Amazon.fr what is on the set:

Quote:
Contient:
- le livre "The Art of Blade Runner" / "Blade Runner From the Archive" avec photos et croquis inédits (72 pages - couverture rigide, double sens de lecture - 17 x 13,5 cm)
1x UHD - Final Cut (1)
1x BD - US Theatrical (2), International (3), DC (4)
1x BD - Workprint (5) (the J-Card also mentions 7 hours of bonus content)
1x DVD - Final Cut
72 page booklet
(5 versions of the film)

I assume the bonus disc is exactly the same as the US/UK BD that replaces the DVD's from the 5 disc set but maybe @dallywhitty can confirm that?

It has gone out of stock several times so it could be available again.
The problem is it could take months.
