Not sure if the 3D parts were filmed using the IMAX cameras, but the IMAX presentation will have approx. 25 minutes of 3D.

Been a long long wait for this one, was disapointed they moved it from last November to this July. I am very happy it's finaly here, can't wait to see it.

I'm still trying to fathom how they managed a PG rating after re-reading to book. they're must be soooo much changed and/or left out.

Maybe the ratings board was just in a generous mood and was lax on the rating.

They have to show it for two more weeks, because they signed a four week exclusivity contract where no other release can be seen on those screens. This was signed before Potter was moved from November.

I've never been a huge fan of the books/films (I could only stand reading the first book actually). But, having seen all the films at least once, if this is anything like the previous installments, there's no way this will get nominated for any Oscar besides effects and the such. To me, the movies are far from spectacular. They're entertaining and nothing more.

Surprising considering the previous films were given a PG-13 rating while Half blood prince has a PG rating, they likely gotten rid of the thematic elements (namely sexually between the children) that weren't needed I guess. I heard the Deathly Hollows is pretty gruesome (some considered it if done right would be R rated).
