It's Warner, isn't it? So it's bound to be region free.
But we're finally getting this. I've been holding off buying the SE dvd for this. I just hope they use the Drew Struzan artwork for the cover and include all of the extras. Now just The Majestic, and I have every Frank Darabont film in my collection .

One of the best blind buys I ever made and Michael Clarke Duncan's best performance to date. Worth seeing just to see them put that jerk guard in solitary.

Does anyone know how the picture quality of this compares with the US version? I know there can be quite a bit of variation, even from the same studios across regions so wanted to check which to go for.

It's the same transfer. The US edition is a digibook whereas the UK edition comes in a normal UK Blu-ray case. Apart from some variations in the choice of subtitles between the two territories, that's the only difference.
