The comedy/drama Doc Martin has been a hit on Britain's ITV network since premiering in 2004. The final series (10) aired at the end of 2022. Now Acorn Media is releasing the final series on blu-ray on March 21, 2023.

Not everyone knows what a great show this is but I wanted to start a thread for discussion with fans. Hopefully one day we will get a full complete set on blu-ray. Currently series 1-6 are only available on DVD.

I hate when shows are part blu-ray released only, but this one is pretty great. I'm currently working through series 06.

Volume 10, the final volume in the series, is scheduled to street in March of 2023, after playing exclusively on Acorn.

Wow. I guess getting it from Acorn gives instant results, lol. I just watched season 10, so I'm not in a huge hurry, but will get it when released next month. Something I don't see/like, is that it list it as 8 episodes. Technically it's 9 if you count the Christmas episode. Let me know if it's included. Maybe it's an 'extra?'

My order for Season 10 from Acorn now has a tracking number. I assume it will ship out today or tomorrow via the USPS.

It would be cheaper to wait until March and order it from Amazon, but in this case, I want season 10 as a Valentines Day present for my sweetie, so I ordered from Acorn.

I suppose that Season 10 will air on PBS someday, but perhaps not until the Fall pledge season.

If you look at the series 10 cover, there looks to be sticker that 'Includes series finale episode.' I wonder if they mean the Christmas episode? So far, all write-ups say 8 episodes. Amazon and Acorn do not show this on their artwork of the cover. Maybe a last-minute change. It would be silly not to have included it.

Mine should this Thursday. It sat in a storage facility somewhere for 5 days before finally shipping out. It should have been delivered today.

The set specifies 9 episodes, "includes the feature-length finale special."

Episode 9 is listed as being 68 minutes, and is all by itself on the 3rd disc.

I haven't watched the disc yet, but there is no indication of "Farewell Doc Martin" being included. Previous releases mention Bonus features, but not this one. A missed opportunity. I'd love to see a blu-ray boxed set in the future with special bonus features like that included.
