Banger of a Direct for me. Prime with dual stick control, a date for Pikmin 4, Sea of Stars and Advance Wars. The Etrian Odyssey and Baten Kaitos collections. 14 new NSO titles and a new Layton title and a Ghost Trick rerelease.
*edit* How could I forget a new Samba de Amigo? Loved the original on Dreamcast. Last edited by dyne; 02-09-2023 at 02:31 AM. |

Played for about an hour and it's an absolute joy to revisit this game. I'm having a hard time deciding between the new controls and the classic style. I think the new dual analog controls are very good but I always really loved how the game played originally. It still feels natural to me after all these years and it's just a unique part of what has always made this game so great.

They think of it as "Nintendo games never lose their value so you can re-sell it later for what you paid." and of course Nintendo got into it too (just look at Mario 3D All-Stars). |

Evidently, MP Remaster looks definitely better and modern, but did it make use of the analog triggers on GCN? The Switch only has digital triggers so hopefully it doesn't hinder the experience.
Mario Sunshine was also ported/remastered for the Switch and they got around the analog triggers issue. Quote:
