In some of the bright sky shots it's more apparent as was noted from someone else. But even through other parts of the film the grain doesn't have that more fluid, tight moving look and can look a little bit digital as a result.
Wait until you see the exterior shots once they get to Russia in Rocky IV (only watched the theatrical). Ugh. Can't recall ever seeing anything like it in this format.

It's like when Rocky went to Russia he entered the Matrix and it started glitching.

As someone who only cared about owning III from the get-go, I feel like the only one who actually lucked out on this shit show of a set. My condolences to everyone who bought this on day one.

Meh, I've seen them all enough times to be pretty well over the series. III is the exception for me because it moves like a rocket ship without being just a series of bad music videos

Don't get me wrong; I loved it when it came out. Of course I was 9, and loved every movie.

There is plenty of '80s fromage that I enjoy, but as soon as Rocky and Apollo start splashing around in the ocean - in slo-mo, no less - I just can't. But hey; "Eye of the Tiger"! That song is still amazing.

Glad I returned my un-opened boxset to BB. It's absolutely incredible how much of a sh$t show the audio was on this set. Hoping that all that will be fixed in a new 6 movie boxset. Guess I'll be waiting longer.

Lucky for you that one shot of Rocky and Apollo happens at the very end of the second act. You really don't make it to the final fight (which is the very next scene) with Clubber?

I just finished watching the first part now.

Went with the 5.1-track as the "original" is botched anyway.

I enjoyed it alot. Nothing with the audio or video took me out of the movie. I had to raise the volume quite a bit to hear the dialogue, but I got plenty of dB to go around.

Not saying the issues aren't there, but I don't know the movie well enough for it to ruin the experience.

I could probably not make out the pitch issue if I tried.

Funny how the price of the set keeps dropping daily.

I decided to go with the steelbooks for these before I knew if all the issues. I already opened 1 on day 1 as I was anxious to check the condition of the steelbook.

Now I kinda wish I had waited for reviews and ordered the set for cheap. At this rate, it might hit $40 in a month haha!

Same. I watched all four over the weekend and never noticed anything amiss. The audio pitch issues went right past me, as well. The sound on Part 2 seemed spot-on, as far as my remarkably untrained ears could tell.

But, on the other hand, I'm not a Rocky Super-Fan, so...

Yeah, I found the dialogue to be pretty poor. I don't recall that with the original on the BD, but would need to listen to that again.

I watched it again a few weeks ago, for the first time in a while. It's just not my thing.

Many dig it. Many like IV, too. Hey, whatever makes people happy. For me, it's the original, Rocky II, and Rocky Balboa. Great trilogy.

i'm still undecided keep 4k or give it back to amazon and hopefully get refund back to gift card instead of visa card but keep holding out to see if wb will do a recall or not

as far as rocky 1 goes yes i know i will never watch mono track on 4k it's rather odd does exist on undisputed bluray

i'm ok with rocky 2 despite folks say pitch is kindof low did mono and 5.1 track no problems despite i like cranking up volume to 70

i got nothing to say about rocky 3

rocky 4 i haven't pay attention to the aspect ratio part <-when does this supposed to start chapter 10 or something like that theater cut?

Will this be the largest replacement program in history for one release? My guess is Warner says fugit, it's Rocky, y'all buy it anyway.

I'l bite at $30 then I'll have to wait on replacements for all the discs with better remasters and fixes.

You would think but if they only send out replacements to those who ask they might get away with it - I mean how many people that buy 4ks read the forums and are going to notice these issues?
