God of War is actually Amazon Prime, not Netflix.

That sucks. HBO would do God of War justice, not Amazon.

"HBO" turning away subscribers is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read. Game of Thrones, Sopranos, The Wire, Six Feet Under, Succession, so much dreadful crap.

As for prices, the current $10-a-month ad-supported tier will stay, as will a $15 or $16 ad-free tier. A new tier priced at $20 is also reportedly being planned, offering higher-quality video and other offerings.

They are using shows like Westworld and Love Craft Country as bait.
Westworld was not attracting new subscribers, putting it on FAST allows them to use it to attract people to their service for other shows.

In all honesty Warner has had boss problems since the AOL days. All that out of control spending is what got them to this point.

It says it in the article, not sure why the other poster did not post the full thing.

In addition to the name change, the service will feature thousands of new shows, mostly lifestyle programming that was previously on Discovery+.

“Lifestyle Programming” = TLC Shows like 90 Day Fiancée, Sister Wives, My Strange Addiction, and so on…

Discovery Channel shows will be nice though! Especially MythBusters

I really miss Mythbusters. Getting all the Planet Earth shows will be great though.

I should've posted the whole sentence but it doesn't really matter where the shows came from.
My point was that they're switching shows like Westworld for lifestyle programming.
They're trying to attract new subscribers but they seem to forget that they can also lose subscribers with a move like that.
Also dropping the name HBO in there seems counterproductive to me.

Westworld had declining viewership. Raised by Wolves had very low viewership. Lovecraft Country is the outlier because it did not get a second season.

What are they losing?
