Out of curiosity, what does A Town Like Alice omit from the book? Details, emotions, censored for ratings? Added Seance on a Wet Afternoon to the list, seems really interesting. Even from a historic standpoint, being the last film from Allied Film Makers. Thanks for pointing it out! The trailer ticked all the silly boxes of the 60s lol, add to that Panavision and location shooting... couldn't resist! |

I like FOLLOW ME. It's a nice little film, and Network's presentation is excellent.

I'd recommend The Belstone Fox not just for its widescreen photography and well choreographed animals, but just because it's such an odd duck (or fox). I have no idea what its target audience is. It starts off as a children's film and ends up like Moby Dick.

It's times like this when Aclea's presence on the forum is sorely missed.

It’s over a decade since the Regan Blu-Ray, but Network have dropped a few hints recently that the rest of The Sweeney will be coming out.

Still waiting for Network to favour us with something from their new Hammer deal, which isn't so "new" anymore.

Network's film releases have dried up considerably over the past 6 months. This year's releases to date consist almost entirely of TV DVD releases, and most of them re-issues. No doubt it'll take them some time to get back on their feet after the tragic passing of Tim Beddows.

Yeah I have very little interest in the TV stuff. They have so many films I want that they are sitting on. Oh well at least there are plenty coming from other labels...

They've got some pretty good weekend deals on the go. Mostly dvd but they do have some decent bluray sets as well, thinking I might pick up the Monty Python sets.

Hello all,
I know these are not blu rays, but this seemed like the logical place to add this post. There are many memorable soundtrack CDs included this weekend in part 2 of the current sale. See the link below. https://networkonair.com/296-march-weekend-deals-2 I'm interested in at least 3 of these collections, especially the remastered Randall and Hopkirk and Man In A Suitcase soundtracks. I'm not sure whether there are any content differences between the original CDs and the remastered ones, but they look to both include the liner notes. Anything tempting you? |

An unexpected but very welcome upgrade of Out: The Complete Series (1978), starring Tom Bell:

With Network tackling more Euston Films productions (hopefully The Sweeney isn't far off), might we see upgrades of Fox and Reilly, Ace of Spies? I guess Out doing well might help Fox's cause.
