The standard edition won't include the book.

I have to wonder if Faust will be next (or Tabu?). Nosferatu I'm sure they'll keep in stock cause it's a popular item right?

Personally Faust is one of my absolute favorites so if anyone doesn't have it I strongly recommend getting it.

Also BOTH Pasolini titles that are going OOP are cheaper there as well & assuming you got all 3 you'd save Ł11.60 from Music Magpie (over Eureka).

What is the Tartuffe disc like? It apparently is an older restorartion compaired to the Kino Lorber release & the running time is 5 mins shorter than the US BD which includes both the US & german versions.

Also does anyone know what if the exoport version of Der letzte Mann (included on the US Kino release) is different in any way to the Original Domestic Version?

Accattone, The Gospel According to St. Matthew and Oedipus Rex. One of these is not going out of print? Which one? Or are all three going OOP? Accattone is the one I'm missing. I'll be getting the Criterion set but it's always good to hang on to older versions til the restorations are in your hands.

This has reminded me that I've had that set for a few years but haven't actually watched any of the films yet. I'll probably stick one tonight if I get the chance.

Are any of his films out of copyright?

But it will include a booklet of some sort, as all MoC releases do (whether limited edition or standard edition).

Does anybody know why Eureka releases are always cheapest from MusicMagpie? Nine times out of ten I end up getting ones I need from there - catalogue MoCs and similar tend to be Ł11.89 new, or even cheaper. Do they have some kind of commercial association?

It's very underrated as an online store in general but it baffles me how it seems to be about 10% cheaper on Eureka titles with free postage, and they seem to have *everything* on the label. Like it's possibly the same warehouse stock with two different shopfronts.

I don't think they are? Sometimes Hit/Base are (Early Murnau is currently slightly cheaper there), sometimes Rarewaves... Both also with free shipping.

I don't trust Hit when ordering titles that are going out of print, the last two times used they have stated item in stock and surprise surprise they have cancelled a week later (both Eureka titles). Of course, past performance is no measure of future performance.

Understandable. I've had that happen with Base before, but the last time with City Girl, just when it seemed like it would happen again (the status changed from in stock to back order when it was already OOP), they pulled through. My Murnau hasn't been shipped yet, but fingers crossed.

At best claiming an item is in stock when clearly is isn't is dubious practice, however, I shall use them again but I will be minded what I order.

Yes they are and, as such, are listed as discontinued on Eureka’s site.
