Or... People could stop using an Apple TV to access media streaming services and use the in-built apps on their smart TV instead

100 percent. The built in apps are inferior to Apple TV 4K. Once LG offers the new MLA to the largest panel.....hopefully in the next couple of years, then I'm gonna pull the trigger.

Looks really good! I will probably end up with a C3 or C4.
The most important thing for me is that the auto dimming is gone. Also important how accurate the LGs are out of the box.
Do note however that almost all his videos are sponsored. I wonder if this is sponsored by LG?

Any problems with the videos being sponsored?

If the video was sponsored by LG then surely we can question the Highly Recommended badge but most of VT's videos have different sponsors (mainly UK based electrical retailers), so I don't see any biasness here.

Remember most of us have some sort of bias like some liking Sony and some liking LG / Panasonic / Samsung.

Usually once a month a video gets that one it seems like. If I was guessing.

p.s It's really hard to StopTheFomo and I'm going through a large HDTVtest to hold back from wanting to get the G3 early next year. But you know me... I'm a slave to the Digital Trends.

The G3 with MLA is definitely a beast! If you're going for W-OLED, it's the TV to have this year. I wonder when, or if, the MLA tech will trickle down into the C series. I assume it's in the premium G series only, for now, to recoup some of the R&D costs. I imagine the margins on the G series are higher than the C series.

LG will make that move if their competitor does something similar (reactive Vs proactive)

Yeah MLA is G3 exclusive this year (55", 65", 77")
