Yo yall remember the old school horror flick "Phantasm?" The had like 4 of them. I would love to see those on blu-ray! Any thoughts on this? Got Em!!

Yea man that first one was a trip as a child!! But I love the first 3 bigtime!! The 4th one was a lil confusing though!! Got Em!!

I don't think the whole series ever came out on DVD, all I remember is that my Phantasm collection is incomplete (I think I have only 2 of the 4? Not sure). But the Tall Man was cool, that actor even had a cool name (Angus Scrimm).

They are all available, parts 1-4. Phantasm 2 is being released in September by Universal in the states, it has been available in other regions for years.

Anchor Bay has only released standard DVD versions of the Phantasm films, so far. They control parts 1,3 and 4. Universal has the rights to part 2.

It is rumored that part 1 will be released on blu-ray in the very near future (possibly for a 30th anniversary edition). But no concrete details yet...

I wonder if that had anything to do with the guy who played Mike was only in parts 1,3, & 4 and they had a diff guy play Mike in part 2!! That was weird!! Got Em!!

Yes, Universal insisted on another actor to play Mike.

Oh wow!! I mean I liked the guy in part2 because he was more assertive and brave, but that wasnt Mike's character from part 1 and when he came back he was the same as when he was a kid!! I guess it worked both ways because i am a fan of the series as a whole! But can u tell me what part 4 was about and the ending????? Got Em!!

The rumor for part 5 has officially been squashed. I don't see it happening.

Awe dam!! I had my hopes up. Oh well just release thease other ones on blu-ray and ill be str8!! There a few other horror films i wouldnt mind seeing on blu-ray also. Got Em!
