Your obsession with hating on this film is not healthy. This is not normal behavior. If you don't like it, that's fine. I thought it was *fair* but I was rather let down overall. A bit of fun and some good effects but not much humor, and I didn't love the main story. But I'm not in here talking about my disappointment over it for 2 years.

Actually it makes total freaking sense that Janine visiting Winston was part of that subplot. I guess they wanted their return to be a surprise? Kind of shocked none of this footage made it out.

Kind of makes it bizarre that they had some more Bill Murray footage that never made it in, given that he was always one of the main draws of Ghostbusters.

The amount of fan service in ATC was fairly tasteful if you compare it to Afterlife. The amount of successfully-executed comedy? Disastrously-low. But it’s not a movie that confuses ridiculous nods to Ghostbusters with entertainment.

The Ramis tribute was also infinitely more tasteful than Afterlife’s.

I’m a Ghostbusters fan, I don’t owe it to anyone to respect the Afterlife fan denial echo chamber. Like it or not, Ghostbusters fans are gonna have opinions on the Ghostbusters movies that exist.

Watched this movie for the 2nd time and I still enjoyed it.

I loved the new cast. I loved the story. I loved the visuals. I loved the final fight and having old and new Ghostbusters together. The homage to Spengler was 100% touching and had me crying.

It's an excellent movie.
