Does anyone have any knowledge as to why domestic shipping is so exorbitant on The Dark Force website? $22 shipping to NYS for 2 blu rays?

There is probably some cart error with the items. Flat rate shipping is supposed to be $4 in the US now.

Definitely some kind of error...currently through JUNETEENTH domestic shipping is 4.00 flat rate (reduced from 6.00) and free for orders over 40.00. International shipping is at 22.00 right now due to exorbitant rates from the post office, but there is free shipping on orders over 100.00. Canada is 16.00 with free shipping over 80.00. Hopefully you get that sorted out as there are some great deals over this holiday weekend. For future reference domestic shipping would never be that high.

Hey Mr. Gotti it turns out there was an error in the shipping system for the domestic orders. Fortunately everyone that ordered the 4K bundle were not charged shipping, there were some orders under 100.00 that were charged the international shipping of 22.00 and they have been since refunded. All the Death Ship releases on Blu-ray were by Scorpion Releasing (Walt), not Code Red (Bill)

Also, you are making a lot of assumptions considering you don't know both sides of the story. Bill was a functioning adult and had the right to leave his belongings or transfer licenses he owned to whomever he wished. Bill and Walt had a contentious relationship in their last years, so the stories each tells about the other need to be taken with a grain of salt.

It makes you ill huh. Maybe you should know what you are talking about before you get sick. We didn't "take" nuthin' from Bill. Neither Bill nor Walt own DEATHSHIP a Canadian company does. So you need to do your homework first before you assume.

Not sure what you have planned for a slip Dave, but this is one that need's to be a 'homerun'. Would be a killer glow in the dark, or a slick embossed one al-a Stingray.....

All you have to do is stay on top of the Preorder and purchase as soon as it goes up for sale - and that can be easily achieved by checking in regularly on this thread or FaceplantbookTM. If you "save it for later" like many folks do, that's on you. Their webstore isn't 24/7.
