Default A Day To Remember...

HEY,

tomorrow marks the 6th year since 9/11/2001. A day, i can never forget. A day, the entire world cried. A day where many loved ones were lost. A day that united a nation. A day which forever i will remember.

I want to dedicate this thread to those who lost a loved one that day, and to a nation that was crippled by the shock. I will get a candle and light it on that day at 9pm, and have a moment of silence. And i hope that some of you will join me to show our support, and unity on that time around the globe. so my fellow brothers and sisters will you join me on this day and time?

thank you for your time,

and I appreciate your support.

HANI.

I think most people here are more concerned with paramount jumping ship, live free or die hard not being unrated on blu ray or any news on the hd dvd front....this is what gets people on this site fired up

For the past few years I started having a moment of silence. I would hope most Americans would take time to remember what happend. To each their own though, but I know where I'll be.

I blame Europe for making USA and Europe economic enemies, as it uses media manipulation, and thus making Europeans (I'm French) hating USA for about everything.
So, even if these terrible events were broadcasted, they were quickly forgotten, turned into derision, even blamed as if USA were the guilty ones (lots of people believe G. BUSH was responsible for the attack to gain political power!!!).
I hope I'll have the strength to be an outcast, thinking of the fellow humans that died that day.

My niece died in the Towers that day. 101st floor Tower One (Cantor) . I will never forget. My wife and I attend a memorial every 9/11 morning, at the time the planes hit .
I am glad you remembered ! Too many people dismiss it as a one time event.
Though I believe they are wrong, I can only pray they are right .

May God continue to bless America !

That is a load of *¤#@! Maybe it is like that in France but do not bring the rest of Europe into your equation..

I went to New York after 9/11 and ground zero was one of the hardest things to look at. My thoughts go out to all NY.

I can only imagine how some of you feel after losing somebody there that day. I used to live in NY up until about 3 years ago. I still remember sitting on that day in 10th grade math class when it came across speaker that a plane hit the towers. Shocked everybody and they pretty much cancelled classes and we all gathered in the libraries to watch the tv's.

**REMEMBER**

Man I thought this was going to be thread about the post-hardcore emo band A Day To Remember. I thought they might have a blu-ray concert coming out or something....

FYI, this is a blu-ray forum, not a forum for planning 9/11 vigils...

Thanks for pointing out the obvious, no need to be like that.

Condolences and commiserations are fine, but please keep it to just that. Politics and religion are not welcome here as they are very controversial and always create arguments. I think anyone in the world one way or another has been impacted by this. I don't think there is any point in appropriating blame or determining reasons. That can be left to other places and times to determine. This may also open up some pretty raw emotions, so please keep any comments to the positive and remembrance / reverence for those who died and all families and friends that lost loved ones. If these simple rules can't be followed we will be forced to lock this thread Very quickly which is not the intent or wishes of the team here. We appreciate your understanding and co-operation.
