yeah, give this a try first. Also connect other devices too.

Sometimes its the actual device that doesn't send a strong enough signal. It might not be the cables at all.

i just pluged my sattelight reciver and ps3 directly threw hdmi to the display and i used a 10 foot hdmi cable that dose work to see if the devices were out putting to hdmi

no im getting abosilutly no signal i also tried using on reciver to send the HDMI signal THREW THE CABLE IN THE WALL[to check if the signal wasent strong enough but its no that ]

Unless I misunderstood something, that's great news! It means the problem may not be your in-wall cables but the component set-up instead. Check the PS3 HDMI set-up, mine has been flakey at times, I fix the problem by redoing the HDMI set-up. If you can't get to HDMI set-up because you can't display using HDMI, maybe you can connect the RCA connections as well to get to the set-up screen and then try setting-up the HDMI that way. Im sorry you misunderstood. When i tried using my reciver to send out the HDMI signal but it did not work, the tv did not even regonize that it was connected to a hdmi source.

also the guy used a boaster to test for signal and i gusse the cables are just sh!t.
